Privacy Policy

CardLab is local-first. By default everything stays on your device, and two optional features — iCloud sync and the Cloud AI tutor — only do more when you turn them on.

What we collect

Nothing on our own servers. CardLab has no account, no login, and no analytics or tracking. We do not operate a database that stores your simulations.

Your simulations

The cards, balances, and scenarios you create are stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they also sync through your own private iCloud account (managed by Apple, not us) so they appear on your other devices. They are never sent to our servers.

The AI tutor

On devices that support Apple Intelligence, the tutor runs on Apple's on-device models and nothing leaves the device. With the optional CardLab Cloud subscription, your question and your simulated card figures are sent through our proxy to a third-party AI provider solely to generate that one answer. The content is not used to train models and is not stored; we keep only a usage count tied to your subscription to prevent abuse.

Purchases

If you buy CardLab Pro (one-time) or subscribe to CardLab Cloud, the App Store handles the payment. We only learn that the purchase is active. We never see your card or payment details.

No ads, no data selling

We do not show ads, sell or share your data, or track you across apps. There is nothing to sell, because we do not collect it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date above.
