Is CardLab safe? What it can and can't see

CardLab is a manual credit card tracker and simulator for iPhone. It has no bank login and no account, and it never asks for a real card number or CVV. What you enter stays on your device, or in your own private iCloud if you turn sync on. CardLab operates no database of user data.
What CardLab never asks for
- No bank login, no real card number and no CVV. You enter your own cards and activity by hand, so there's nothing to authorize and nothing to sync with a bank.
- No sign-up, no login and no account. The app works fully offline.
Where your data lives
- By default, everything you enter stays on your device.
- Optional iCloud sync keeps it in your own private iCloud, which Apple manages, not CardLab's servers. Your simulations are never sent to CardLab's servers.
- Statement import (a Pro feature) reads a statement PDF or screenshot on the phone, and nothing is sent anywhere. Every row waits in a review inbox until you accept it.

The app itself contains no analytics beyond the purchase records above. CardLab never sees your card or payment details, and the App Store handles payment.
Is CardLab legit?
- CardLab is the iPhone app for tracking credit cards, their rewards and bank sign-up bonuses. It's published at getcardlab.app and listed on the App Store as "CardLab: Track Cards & Rewards".
- It's made by a small independent developer and funded by what people pay for the app. It takes no commission from any issuer, and no card is ranked, featured or shown higher because of a payment.
- Every rate in the catalog is read from the issuer's own page and stored with the sentence and the date. See how rates are verified and coverage by market.
- Several unrelated products share the name. This CardLab isn't CardLab ASA or cardlab.com, isn't Stratos or cardlabcards, and isn't any game or physical product of the same name.
What CardLab won't do
- It's for education and planning. It gives no financial, legal, tax or credit advice.
- Its Credit Health Meter isn't a credit score. It doesn't calculate, predict or report a real score, and it doesn't affect your credit file.
- You should be at least 13 years old to use CardLab.
How to delete everything
- In the app, go to Settings, then Delete all data, or delete the app.
- If you turned on iCloud sync, also remove CardLab data from iCloud: iPhone Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage.

Does CardLab connect to my bank account?
No. CardLab is a manual tracker and simulator with no bank login, and it never asks for a real card number or CVV. You enter your own cards and activity by hand, so there is nothing to authorize and nothing to sync with a bank. Everything stays on your device by default.
Does CardLab sell my data?
No. CardLab's privacy policy says it does not show ads, sell or share your data, or track you across apps. Your simulations are never collected in the first place. The only purchase data it receives is a record of App Store subscription events, and that record is not linked to your identity.
Can CardLab affect my credit score?
No. CardLab is educational. Its Credit Health Meter is not a credit score, and the app does not calculate, predict or report a real score. Nothing you enter reaches a credit bureau or changes your credit file, because CardLab never connects to a bank or a card account.
How do I delete my CardLab data?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete all data, or delete the app. If you turned on iCloud sync, also remove CardLab data from iCloud in iPhone Settings, under your name, then iCloud, then Manage. CardLab keeps no copy of your simulations on its servers.
