About CardLab

What CardLab is

CardLab is consumer software for learning how a credit card billing cycle actually works: statement date, due date, grace period, average-daily-balance interest, minimum payments, and utilization.

It ships as an iPhone app, a free web simulator at /app/, three free calculators, and a plain-language guide. The published calculator numbers are produced by the same engine the app runs, not by hand.

What CardLab is not

• Not a lender, bank, or credit bureau.
• Not a bank-connected aggregator. There is no Plaid, no issuer login, and no real PAN or CVV.
• Not financial, legal, tax, or credit advice.
• Not a credit-score product. The Credit Health Meter is educational and does not calculate or predict real scores, approvals, or lender decisions.

Privacy

By default everything you enter stays on your device. Optional iCloud sync uses your own Apple account. The optional Cloud AI tutor sends a question through a proxy only when you turn it on. There are no ads and no cross-app trackers.

Pricing

The simulator, calculators, and guide are free. CardLab Pro is a one-time $9.99 App Store unlock for unlimited cards and the rest of the labs. It is not a subscription.
